Pale blue,
\nHer eyes shown white.
\nDress of green,
\nBlack by night.<\/p>\n
Her tears fell soft,
\nAgainst the floor..
\nHer hands reached slow,
\nAgainst the door.<\/p>\n
She pulled,
\nIt opened.
\nInto the night she went..<\/p>\n
Her tears fell faster,
\nAs she ran.
\nInto the distance,
\nHer shadow long.
\nInto the night,
\nWhere all is gone..<\/p>\n
Gone like her love.
\nFrozen cold in mid day.
\nGone like her dreams,
\nTossed aside and away..<\/p>\n
Gone like her memories,
\nOf her true love’s embrace.
\nGone like her picture,
\nOf his once smiling face.<\/p>\n
Now just a blur,
\nAs she runs through the night..
\nNow just a vision..
\nFading soft, out of sight.<\/p>\n
Alone and afraid,
\nShe stops and falls cold.
\nLost in the shadows,
\nSpun out of control.<\/p>\n
Then silence,
\nTears slow.
\nHer heart beat again.
\nA voice,
\nA call..
\nCarried soft on the wind.<\/p>\n
She sits,
\nHer eyes open,
\nAnd look to the night.
\nThen there, in the distance,
\nA soft glowing light.<\/p>\n
It moves closer,
\nHe calls,
\nHis voice calm and slow..
\nShe looks up and wonders,
\nTo where should she go.<\/p>\n
She hurts,
\nYet she feels..
\nStill deep down, he’s there.
\nIt burns,
\nYet remembers..
\nThat they both still care.<\/p>\n
They care for each other,
\nDespite all the pain.
\nAnd there he’s forgiven,
\nShe loves him again.<\/p>\n
… Annd I felt like writing poetry again ;). This is a new type of poem for me, so be nice.. I really really enjoy writing, songs, short stories, and especially poetry.. I’m slowly getting back into it. There really isn’t much involved, I put about 20 minutes into writing that one, read over it once and it was done.. I start a poem with a thought, an idea.. in this case it was “pale blue”.. and it grows from there.<\/p>\n
Anyways, today was a very very good day.. I’ve spent a TON of time working on Amae’s site and its paying off.. I’m throwing on the finishing touches now. Tomorrow I’ll be adding up some galleries, final content pages, and then it’ll be ready for some public scrutiny! I look forward to getting all your feedback :).<\/p>\n
