A few short minutes from now and my computer will be offline, packed in a suitcase full of clothes and other interesting items, and ready to go. I have no clue where all this stuff came from. Ok, maybe I do.. I had a little fun shopping today and picked up some new clothes ;).. Ahh, the power of the discount stores!

Its been an amazing few months, it really has. We’re well and strong into 2005 now and there is definitely no turning back. I’ve learned SO much during my stay here in LA. I’ve learned how to build a site in PHP and CSS.. I’ve gotten better at digital art.. I’ve made many new friends. I’ve grown a bit.. both physically and emotionally. Working with Amae has been an incredible experience and its definitely not over yet. You go girl! :)

And so I’m off to the Philippines! I’m going to be helping out with a building project and pretty much anything else that I can. It’ll be the longest I’ve been without a computer in.. years! Its kinda exciting ;). I’m really looking forward to being able to help out and give back.. I really have no idea what its like to live outside of the USA and I’m sure this is going to be an eye opening experience for me. All of your prayers are great appreciated!

So that’s that :). I’m going to be relaxing over the next few days and then off I go on the 15th! I’ll be back in action up in Portland, Oregon, on April 1st, 2005.

I’ll be taking as many pictures as I can and writing! Looking forward to sharing the experience with you guys upon my return!
